Care House

Care-A-Lot Incorporated, Care House is a transitional home designed to help homeless and displaced individuals or families.

The house is a fully furnished two-bedroom home with a queen-size bed, bunkbed and a living and dining area. Care House offers a fully stocked kitchen including food and all the necessities needed to prepare meals during ones stay.

A Care Bag is given to each child and adult upon check in at the Care House that includes personal items like toothbrush, paste and soap. Care House also comes equipped with high speed internet. A pack and play and highchair are available upon request.

Care-A-Lot Incorporated in a 501 c(3) organization that works with other organizations that caters to the homeless and displaced. Care House is available for stay on a nightly, weekly, or monthly basis up to six months. A small fee is charged to stay at Care House, to cover some of the expenses associated with operating the facility; however, our fee does not cover the total cost to operate the house in its fullness. It cost Care-A-Lot Incorporated approximately $2,750 a month to operate Care House. This includes rent, utilities, cleaning, maintenance, food, home necessities as well as Care Bags.

Care-A-Lot Incorporated offers vouchers to individual or families who need assistance to cover the fee, but these vouchers are only available with your help. Care-A-Lot Incorporated goal is to offer the Care House free to all in need of temporary housing while we connect them to resources to help them transition back into society. On average in takes $33,000 a year to operate the Care House and change the lives of many. We are asking for donations of any amount to help with our efforts and to establish more Care Houses in the future.
